The message of Fatima is a living message.
A teaching that Mary wants us to live by every day.
A message that has it's focus on Supernatural Outlook.

"Our dear Lord, who shares out His gifts as He thinks fit, has allotted to me this little portion - my memory. He alone knows why. And besides, as far as I can see, there is this difference between natural and supernatural things: "When we are talking to a mere creature, even while we are speaking, we tend to forget what is being said; whereas these supernatural things are ever more deeply engraved on the soul, even as we are seeing and hearing them, so that it is not easy to forget them." --Sr. Lucia, Fatima, in Her Own Words
Jesus Mary and Joseph, I give you my heart and my soul...
In the Spring of 1916, before Our Lady appeared to the shepherd children of Fatima, God sent one of his Angels to prepare them for the Blessed Mother’s visits.
When the Angel appeared, He said to them, “Be not afraid. I am the Angel of Peace. Pray with me.”
Beautiful are the words of the Angel. First, he puts the children at ease, then, he tells them who he is and invites them to pray.
The Angel invites them to pray
and …out of love, he teaches them how to pray.
First, his position. Kneeling on the ground, he bows down until his forehead touches the ground and then speaks the words of the prayer, Lucia says that with a supernatural impulse, the children did the same...
“My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love You! I ask pardon of You for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope and do not love You.”
When we pray we show reverence to almighty God both with our body and our soul. On his knees with his head to the ground the Angel prayed. When was the last time you prayed like this? Have you ever prayed like this? The Angel reminds us that it is right and proper to use our body language to express what is on our hearts and lips.
This prayer echos the question asked of Jesus…which is the greatest Commandment?
To love the Lord with all our heart, mind and soul and to love your neighbor as yourself.
The Angel’s prayer does just that, displaying first love of God and second love of neighbor.
Learn the Angel’s prayer and go outside of yourself…and pray for your neighbor.
Pray the Rosary daily for peace.
Our Lady’s message of Fatima...
Learn it. Live it. Spread it.
We hear talk of being prepared for natural disasters and terrorist attacks. When disasters strike it is tragic. But what is most tragic are the individual souls that are not prepared to meet God …no matter how they die.
Before the Blessed Mother visited Fatima, God sent an Angel to prepare the children for her visit. The error of Modernism was taking hold in the world and Our Lady was to appear with a Peace Plan to overcome this heresy, and to fight the spiritual battle…
Throughout Salvation History, God used angels as his messengers to prepare his people for his coming.
In the days of Moses, an angel appeared to Moses in flames of fire from within a bush. The bush was on fire but not consumed by it. Moses takes off his shoes, recognizing that this is something out of the ordinary, it is supernatural…holy ground. He goes to take a look.
What happened? Moses receives a mission.
God’s angel prepared Moses for the great work that He had planned for him.
The Angel Gabriel came to Mary and announced to her that she would be the Mother of God and in reply, Mary said…”My soul magnifies the Lord and my Spirit Rejoices in God my savior from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.”
The children of Fatima needed to be prepared to receive the message that Mary would bring. God knew that they would suffer much.
We too need to be prepared to suffer much as we defend the true Faith. We must love our neighbor and spread the message so others will be prepared. Through prayer and penance we follow the message of Fatima.
Pray the Rosary daily for Peace.

Jesus Mary and Joseph, I give you my heart and my soul...
When the Angel appeared to the children at Fatima, he greeted them by saying, “Be not afraid”. They were astonished at the site of the Angel. Lucia described the angel as “a light whiter then snow in the form of a young man quite transparent and as brilliant as crystals in the rays of the sun”
Fear is not from God.
Later on May 13 when Mary first appeared to the children, she too greets them with…you guessed it…”Be not Afraid”
These words parallel Jesus’ words in the Gospel when he borrows Simon Peter’s boat to preach. Jesus tells Simon to “Put out into the deep” And what happens? They catch such a huge number of fish, so large that the nets begin to break.
Simon (Peter) falls to his knees…and says, “depart from me Lord, for I am a sinful man.”
Aren’t we all? When confronted with God’s power, glory and majesty our own weakness is all too clear. But what does Jesus says to Peter?
Be Not Afraid!
God takes this simple, humble fisherman and makes him the head of the Church on earth. He gives him the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven!
Our Lady of Fatima calls us to be simple. To be humble. She asks us to pray and make acts of penance in order to obtain peace for the world.
What fear is keeping you away from Jesus and the Church? Perhaps it’s a teaching that you don’t understand. Perhaps it’s a sin you committed that you think is unforgivable and too hard to confess in the Sacrament of Penance.
God loves you. He is calling you. Pray to overcome your fears as Our Lady is calling us to do at Fatima.
Be Not Afraid!

Jesus Mary and Joseph, I give you my heart and my soul...
The Angel of Peace visited the children a second time in the summer in 1916. This time he appears to them at a well near Lucia’s house that the children would often go to play. He said to them: “What are you doing? Pray! Pray very much! The Hearts of Jesus and Mary have designs of mercy on you. Offer prayers and sacrifices constantly to the Most High.”
There is a unique clarity in the angel’s message. Prayers and sacrifices…constantly.
The children, ages 9, 8 and 7 are not educated. They do not know how to read. They didn’t even know what “Sacrifice” meant. Yet God is asking them to do so. “How are we to make sacrifices?” they asked the angel.
“Make everything you can a sacrifice, and offer it to God as an act of reparation for the sins by which He is offended, and in supplication for the conversion of sinners. You will thus draw down peace upon your country. I am its Angel guardian.”
Sacrifice has an original religious meaning, giving up some good to give honor to God, to show that there is something greater that just the material goods and as the people of God we are willing to give up that material good recognizing a greatness of God who we are subject to.
To sacrifice something is to give up something for the sake of a better cause.
After this visit the children took it very seriously and started looking for ways to sacrifice in their everyday life.
We need to pray and sacrifice. We need to pray and our sacrifices enforce our prayers, words and deeds. For if we pray for something but are unwilling to actually do something to reinforce and show our love and commitment to the prayer, is our heart really in it?
The angel appears the second to further prepare them for Our lady’s visits. He scolds them because they are not praying enough and they need to sacrifice. If you are ever wondering what to do or you find yourself lacking, then you need to pray. You need to offer something up, make a sacrifice.
Pray the Rosary daily for Peace.

The third visit of the angel teaches the children about the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. It was now Fall of 1916.
He gives the children Jesus in the Holy Eucharist saying…“Take and drink the Body and blood of Jesus Christ , horribly outraged by ungrateful men. Repair their crimes and console your God.”
Now that the children have received the angel two times they have been more focused on prayers and sacrifices for themselves and others.
The Angel appears to them a third time. This time the Angel’s message is on the importance of Jesus really and truly present in the Holy Eucharist.
The Eucharist is the source and summit of our Catholic Faith. The source because it is from Jesus that all graces flow and the summit because it is where we hope that our souls will reach in heaven when we will be in full communion with God.
Jesus present in the holy eucharist gives us a taste of heaven on earth. We receive Him under the appearance of bread and wine but the true reality is that he is truly present, body, blood soul and divinity in the most holy eucharist. He is fully contained in every part of it.
The angel teaches the children this prayer. He does so prostate on the ground, repeating it three times.
“Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore You profoundly and I offer You the Most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which he is offended. And by the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart and through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners.”
