Miracle of the Sun
On that October day in 1917 more than 70,000 witnessed the miracle of the Sun. Many people, faithful and not particularly faithful, witnessed the supernatural in action. Reported in the secular newspaper, Avelino de Almeida gave a firsthand account of the Miracle of the Sun, and published it on October 15th, 1917, in O Século’s daily edition. Every day the sun rises and sets. There is possibly nothing more reliable than the sun. No wonder that the sun was used to display God's power through Our Lady of Fatima. God who created the world out of nothing, is not held by the laws of nature because he made them. After months of questions and sufferings for the three shepherd children of Fatima, Our Lady promised a sign on the day of her last apparition. The sign was the day the Sun Danced.

Our Lady of Fatima Calls
The call of Fatima is a call to a life of deeper prayer and penance - a call to work constantly on your interior life. To become holy in our every day ordinary circumstance. Mary calls us to interior and exterior peace through the practice of prayer and penance. Each person hears her calls and meets it at different levels in their own stages life. When you listen to the call and commit to it, the interior life changes and is transformed in a way that manifests in the exterior life Holiness, the oneness with God, is achieved through the miracles of grace and the healing power of the Holy Spirit. This cooperation in grace with God creates a ripple effect that takes place in your life. Like pebbles dropped in the water... the love of Christ will radiate to the world as her message is spread one soul at a time.
